The key principle: select a window by the task, opening size, sun, wind, proximity to the sea, glazing and installation—not from one photo or a single price.

Start with the purpose of the room
An apartment needs warmth, quiet and a convenient sash. A house or terrace often needs large dimensions and an outdoor opening. A commercial property needs durable hardware and a consistent façade.
Three questions before choosing a system
- What is the opening size? The larger the sash and glass area, the more important frame rigidity and calculation become.
- Is there sea air, wind or direct sun? Thermal break, sealing, drainage and glazing selection matter most in coastal conditions.
- Do you need sliding opening? A wide terrace exit needs a system engineered for glass weight and wind load.
ASAS system guide
- RWT55 — a practical option for standard apartment and office windows.
- RWT64 — for higher thermal or acoustic requirements and wider glazing.
- RST116 — a lift-and-slide system for panoramic openings, terraces and garden exits.
Do not overlook glazing and installation
The profile is only one part of a window. Ask about glazing specification, seals, moisture drainage and installation method. An excellent system cannot compensate for an incorrect installation joint.
