What matters when choosing windows

In Batumi, high humidity, salt air, wind and strong sun affect every window. Assess the glass unit, seals, drainage, hardware and installation joint—not only the frame material.

  • Small openings: both materials can work with proper manufacturing and installation.
  • Panoramic glazing: aluminum handles large sashes and slim sightlines well.
  • Terraces and sliding doors: the system must be engineered for glass weight and wind load, such as ASAS RST116.
  • Homes near the sea: use a warm profile with a polyamide thermal break and suitable glazing.
